What to expect if you ate waaay too much over the weekend. Kinda like me 😬
If you’re weekend was anything like mine then it was probably full of delicious foods, way too many treats, and maaaybe 1 or 2 or 5+ adult beverages. Hey just keeping it real! 🤷♂️ 😜
Just know that it’s completely normal to feel a little bloated, watery, plump, chubby, or whatever you wanna call it lol, but if you’ve ever ate too much you probably know exactly what I’m talking about. Keep in mind that these physical responses are completely NORMAL & TEMPORARY! They will be gone is a couple days.
Don’t worry you didn’t lose all that progress you’ve been working your ass off for. Your results come from what you do day in and day out, consistently, NOT the every once in a while things like an occasional wild weekend 😉
So please, I beg you, do not beat yourself up for enjoying your weekend! Instead think of all the good times you had with family and friends. These good times are what make life great!
The only thing you need to do moving forward is simply get back on track. Choose to eat the foods that you know help you feel great, get back in the gym with amazing people that support and encourage you.
If you track your nutrition then get back to your normal targets. I do not recommend trying to over restrict to “make up for the weekend” this sometimes leads to an unhealthy self punishing mindset.
So keep it simple, get back to doing what makes you feel great, and keep working hard. You got this! 😁💪🏼
